A six-month cohort program shaping the next generation of Elsa leaders through civic education, service projects, and networking.
A six-month leadership development program designed to empower local leaders, enhance professional skills, and foster connections across the Elsa community. Run in partnership with UTRGV Professional Education & Workforce Development.
WHAT THEY DO
- Local civic education on Elsa governance, economic development, and small business
- Hands-on community service projects
- Networking with established Elsa business owners, city staff, and community advocates
- Personal leadership development — strategic thinking, communication, emotional intelligence
- Workshops with UTRGV faculty and special guest speakers
WHO IT'S FOR
Emerging leaders from Elsa-area small businesses, corporate organizations, and City of Elsa staff. Participants are selected based on their potential to contribute to and benefit from the program.

A future Elsa leader ready to commit to a six-month cohort track — civic learning, service, and lasting professional relationships across the Delta Area.
PROGRAM DETAILS
- Duration: six months
- Cost: $300 donation (or equivalent in-kind contribution) to cover meals and materials

Who it's for: Emerging leaders from Elsa small businesses, corporate organizations, and City of Elsa staff selected through application or nomination.
Goals: Build a cohesive group of locally-rooted leaders ready to drive Elsa's growth phase forward through civic engagement, service, and collaboration.
